Swizz found out about the party and he invited Mashonda, she came with Alexis (Kanye’s ex) when she arrived she hugged Swizz and shook Alicia’s hand and walked on. She danced and had a great time, when she and her guest were ready to leave Jay-Z offered them a ride! And they left. No fight, No drama! Alicia and her family were upset by her being there, but I guess if I stole someone’s husband I’d be a little leary too because I would think that an Azz-kicking was coming my way! get it right Bossip! but that’s how the media is always portraying women (ESPECIALLY women of color)with negative nasty attitudes. I can tell the age, mindset and depth, of some of these posters are somewhat young. Not to belittle anyone in this thread. However–once you can get past infidelity (NO MATTER WHO’S AT FAULT) you can start to move on and grow as an individual.

There are very few instances where all three parties can truly get along in the beginning.

The healing process of the ending of a relationship is almost like the death of a loved one. There are five steps to dealing with it and they may come in different phases but the LAST step should be ACCEPTANCE.

Moshanda–you’ve been hurt by all of this. You may not have been a direct cause of your husband’s infidelities but a painful realization is to determine what role you played in this. That’s not to say that you’ve cheated but there HAD to be some signs! Did you do all you can in addressing them? Honestly? Did you do everything you could to uphold this marriage as a wife?

Before you guys come at me, think about it! I’m not condoning any cheater and when it happened to me, YES–I wanted to step to the other woman but what would that prove? If I beat the brakes off her will that make him want me again? If I followed them around town will that bring him back?

I want a man to want me for what I bring to the table—certainly not out of pity.

My understanding is that Mashonda has moved on. She and Swizz have a very cordial relationship. The recap of her presence and behavior at the party by BOSSIP is inaccurate and misleading.

MY only issue is with our seeming casual handling of the marriage vows (Swizz) and lost of respect for them (Alicia). Simply WAIT till the divorce is complete and that means ALL parties involved.

I read he invited her and that as much as he hurt her she did get over it and that they maintain a civil friendship. It takes a real women to let go and I believe she has let go of one aspect of their relationship. They were married that part of it did not work does not negate the rest of it. They are parents, work on projects together etc… He knows he was wrong but he cares for her and wanted to extend the invite… I push the envelope too… I would have been like f alicia he invited I’m coming..
