I always thought LisaRaye was cl*****y. I mean of course I dont know her but in just the way that she carries herself she always seems so poised and controlled. Like I said earlier, she started her career earlier on in the liquor store ads, so she has always been a model/ spokesperson and a great deal of that is using her physical shape to endorse products and events. She eventually got in to acting but after all these years she really hasn’t gotten any high profile leading roles- “Diamond” is her most well known role and that was not mainstream. So her main source of income is modelling… Many models who are mothers and wives model in the same racey kind of spreads that Lisa does but with out all the flack. Is it b/c she is only popular in Black publications that her work can’t be appreciated?? Would a SI Swimsuit spread get her more respect?? She’s not opening her legs showing her *****, she’s taking wonderful pics that show a very sexy profile of a woman, just like Naomi, Tyra, Gisselle, and VS models etc… And I don’t know about her adultery/ infidelity woes, but what ever she has done she has done well, b/c you don’t have video clips of her getting f*cked or giving someone head or out being a drunken mess. Why do people post before reading others’ comments? All the people asking “Lisa, why oh why” obviously didn’t read the comments. This is an OLD PHOTO. Even Lisa, as the “First Lady” of Turks & Caicos, has enough sense to not pose like this! This photo appears to be a few years — and a few pounds — ago. But she looks great, then and now!

She obviously married for money and prestige. Why he married HER is not so clear. Perhaps he felt that he couldn’t go on forever as a bachelor…or people might start to whisper. But it seems like he hasn’t slowed down much since the marriage. Or maybe he thought she would give be his entre into Hollywood. I guess she knew what she was getting into…Still, I hope the rape allegations are not true, especially since the alleged victim is supposed to be one of her friends.

There are still girls/women who act decently. They just don’t/won’t get a lotta coverage cause they act like they got some damn sense (and HOME-TRAINING). If there’s one thing I’m proud of it’s the fact that as a whole YOUNG BLACK HOLLYWOOD knows how to act.

Raven Symone comes to mind. Rev Run’s daughters.The BET founder’s daughter. Ciara, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Bow Wow, etc…

Also, I can’t talk ***** about Britney. Brit makes bad decisions but as I understand it she’s also having mental issues. My mother is bipolar; father had large brain tumor which induced schizophrenia.
