This cat never came off to me like a street cat. When he first emerged singing that locked up stuff, he just sounded like a singer with a catchy tune. I’m not going to say that most rappers fabricate their lives, but a lot over-exaggerate their lives to seem more street. But the ones to really watch out for are those, who don’t say much and stay the hell humble, because they really know what’s up. Several rappers have been called out in the last year or so about this exact thing. Yo’ boy Plies the Florida rapper claims to always have a gun and claims to be the realest cat ever, well only if he made a song about how his college graduation went, it would probably add some truth to his life. Yo’ boy Young Jeezy claims to be a real weight(drug) pusher, yet he gave up all that and had the time to write rhymes and record albums in the studio and nobody ever got up with this dude, interesting. Not saying these guys are not from the hood and may know cats who actually participates in this nonsense, but to put yourself in these shoes and then boast and brag about it, makes you a lame in my book.

I never did like Akon as an artist and when I found out he had like 5 wives, I was threw with him all together. SMH at these wanna be gangsters!
