This years awards had a duel purpose.awarding the winners and paying tribute to the to an outstanding musical genius who revolutionize the music industry.Kanye showed a total lack of respect for those who came before and the juniors coming into the game.seems as though his intention was to take the focus of mj and have it place on himself and beyonce well he did achieve that but only in the short term, try as they might they can’t erase this mans awesome contribution to music and the world.his legacy will live on and on for ever. Btw kanye could learn about humility humanity and respect for fellow artist from the man he disrespect on that night. The king of pop.

Why is that these so-called “black, educated ppl” are so much better than ppl who didn’t go to college? I mean honestly what’s the difference…I’ve met numerous individuals that have gone to college and are still idiots. Please don’t let being a college graduate be your claim to fame! It’s not the degree that makes you smarter, it the choices you make after recieving it. Simply a bench marker for what’s next to come. Understand that you are no better than the person next to you!

I never graduated from college, am 24 yrs old and have been doing just fine. Get paid more money than my “black, educated” friends…but it’s not even about the money. I’m career-oriented without college, and have the knowledge and expertise that surpasses a piece of paper. Nothing against ppl who are fortunate enough to go to school, but there are plenty of others that are doing perfectly fine without it. Do you…and stop assuming that because you have a piece of paper on your wall you’re better. At the end of the day it’s still just a piece of paper. And doesn’t guarantee anything this day and age.

Kanye made a mistake…has apologized and it’s over. Janet did a very wonderful thing, it’s called being sympathetic! There should be more ppl in the world who have compassion for others…
