Ok I am glad you mentioned domestic violence in your statement…Because although I understand the stats show things rise afterwards…But what I want to know is how many stay together when it’s going on in the home where both parents stay together…I had a father and a mother in the home when I grew up..But they fought half the time, my dad cheating on occasions, but they still carried on with their high paying jobs like ***** didn’t happen the night before…Just *****ing miserable…We (meaning the kids) just lived our lives without ever bringing it up….There was no molestation going on but fussing and fighting became so normal that we thought it was the normal… Why did they hide it and not get help? Who knows, maybe it was the fancy lifestyle or the perception at work that their lives at home was *****ED UP!
All I am saying is that sometimes being alone or possibly in the future finding someone else may just be best… I would rather be broke, alone than to be unhappy like my mother was just to keep a family together.…***** that we could seen both parents on a schedule or something but just because you are family doesn’t mean things don’t go awry..

Contrary to popular opinion, so long as there isnt any physical and sexual violence it was better for your parents to have stayed together than if they had split up despite the fights and the infidelity.
A lot of people *****ume that its better if they just divorce. Well the research says otherwise. Children growing up with fighting parents do better than children who grow up with divorced parents. Again, there are some exceptions to this rule. Obviously if you are getting your ***** beat, you have to leave.

That is good. All black people should be on that side. There is nothing wrong with a person stating what they believe in but if they have to bash others to get their points across then it will only continue to be a vicious cycle of hatred. It’s just sad and it doesn’t make people look educated just because they can point out someone else’s faults. I think that the ignorant comments are a bit much if one can’t prove that they are actually trying to make a change in their community. It just shows how ignorant and misguided some people are when one can stand on a soap box and stereotype a whole race or gender.
