NeNe is leaving her RHOA co-stars behind in the dust; she got a gig as an E! guest fashion commentator for the Emmys.  She may be on to something.

NeNe dissed damn near everything that hit the carpet and co-hosted with Jay Manuel who was outshined by NeNe’s hood mentality and witty commentary:

Jay: “One of my favorites, Debra Messing, you know you know how to do fashion for me, baby. Tonight, this dress, it’s beautiful. You cannot say it’s not a beautiful dress. But safe. Debra usually gives me a statement.”

NeNe: “To me, Debra’s looking really plain and simple. Really, she could have just put that on and went shopping.”

Jay: “Shopping where?!”

NeNe: “At the grocery store. I mean, really, it’s just really plain and simple, though, Jay. It’s not bam, hot. Debra Messing, I would expect her to be fly.”

Jay: “That’s not a grocery store, this is when you go to the (red) carpet. It’s safe.”

NeNe: “Listen to me!”

Later, when Jay started gushing over Stephen Moyer of  HBO’s vampire series “True Blood,” NeNe set him straight.

“Black girls are not into vampires, honey. That’s a white girl thing.”

And poor “Gossip Girl” Leighton Meester didn’t escape NeNe’s no-nonsense observations, either.

Meester showed up in a white, low-cut gown with two huge, uh, things on the shoulders.

Jay: “I like this Grecian dress. What do you think?”

NeNe: “I think the shoulder pads are huge.”

Jay: “Those are not shoulder pads. Those are stylish knots.”

NeNe: “Well, those knots, you can climb a mountain with those knots.”

Aside from doing fashion commentary at the Emmy’s, we hear NeNe is also about to launch a shoe line:

“I’m currently working on a shoe line,” NeNe says. “I’m doing it with a company out of New York. I can’t talk about it too much because we haven’t sealed a deal yet, but we’ve been meeting.”
