That stinks! I have a friend who was in the same situation. She completed her Master’s in Public Health, was involved in many extra-curricular activities, volunteering, etc. and was unable to get a job for lack of “work experience”. Hello?!? How can you get “work experience” if you don’t get hired for the job? Anyway, she went BACK to nursing school, works as a nurse, and is NOW able to utilize her Master’s degree. I’m pro-education/college. It’s one of the best and most accessible ways to elevate oneself, but sometimes there’s a lot of b.s. that goes along w/it too. I’m going to make sure that when my kids go to college they select one major for “passion” and another major for “employability” (don’t think that’s a real word, but it works).

Foolish me for thinking that you’d be more concerned about the content of my stament rather than my gramatical errors. Furthermore if your disputing that fact that I’m saying he’s like bush then you are very unaware of what’s really going on around you. Istead of making a comment about any of the issues I brought up, you choose to get upset with me becuase I have not bought into the lie that is this presidency. I understand it’s hard to admit that you’ve been dupped by someone Handsome and well spoken. But If I’m a crazy nutball to you fine. But promise me you’ll look into the issues that I’ve brought up and fight for liberty and freedom to be restored in our country. And for those of you who may think I like Rush Lim. , Glenn beck and Hannity. You couldn’t be more wrong. HAnnity is a corporate shill, Rush limmbaugh’s job is to lead real conservatives astray and to keep subtle racial hatred on the front burner … and Glenn is there to make the libertaians look insane. If your going to disagree with me, debate with me on the issues instead ” Oh just don’t like my president”

The reason why President Obama is acting this way(nothing negative) is tht he has to. The reason why I say this is b/c he has alot of pressure to do a good job while in office just b/c he’s black, and it’s for tht reason tht he has to be “perfect” in the eyes of some who are just waithing on him to fail. Now if the president were white(and I dnt mean to put color in this), then peolple wouldn’t be talking about this so much. Did these issues come up when Bush was in office(not talking about color)??

Glock 9! You spit mad racism! None of the things that you are speaking on would better the situation of you as an individual if Mr. President spoke on them in the manner in which you are suggesting. Being a Black woman raised in the South (Alabama) there is no way that I have not witnessed racism whether it be overt or discreet in nature. I say most of this is because I do have children that are biracial, me being Black and their father being Caucasian.

First you should learn to articulate using standard English before you start to put someone of this stature on blast in the hateful nature in which you have. EDUCATION is key!

I have been noticing that people are always asking who is going to pay for health care in the long term. Who pays for it now??? When people are sick and have no insurance, they go the hospital instead of the doctor. Somebody pays for it. That is why a dose of Tylenol is $400. Canada is doing it and thriving better than what the media will let you believe. Stop listening to the lobbyists and reasearch and see the truth. How many more Americans need to lose their jobs and insurance coverage before you can see that national coverage is a good thing for us all?

I am so jealous of you Americans. You have an intelligent, charismatic leader, and our PM is hopeless. I live in the Middle East and people over here LOVE Obama. When he was elected, my Arab friends were crying tears of joy.

Obama is a clever man. How many of us who work in fields, that were traditionally the province of white, upper middle class people know, that sometimes you have to play the long game? You know you have to work harder and be better qualified than your white counterparts. You may experience blatant racism, but you have to choose your battles wisely, and sometimes not call out blatant racism for fear of being seen to play the “race card.” Obama knows that senator was racist. Let that old fool hoist himself by his own petard. Obama will still be POTUS. Okay rant over!

Obama has to choose his battles. He very well knows Jimmy Carter is right, and that rethug Wilson is a racist. He is wise enough to ignore the drama. If he engages in black versus white and lets this degenerate into a race issue, he will lose. Sometimes you have to play along. The end justifies the means. People, you need to start using your medulla oblangata and stop thinking small.
