It’s tough. I know why it was done, but I don’t think they are worth a number nine rank. I don’t think GA Tech was really a 14 rank. They hopped to nine because of the way FSU beat BYU, but BYU plays like a Big 10 team, so they weren’t worth a number 7 rank.

Not deserving. Florida State is on the decline and Ga Tech was over hyped. The program at Miami has shown considerable improvement, but the ranking is going to make their fall that much worse.

I’m glad to see Miami doing well though. Randy Shannon caught a raw deal when he took over that team. Larry *****er did not leave Miami in the same shape Butch Davis did. Butch gave Larry a national championship, all he had to do was show up. Randy had to do some serious work when he go there.

You must be young. Roger Staubach was one of the greatest QB’s to ever play the game…He’s also a former Heisman Trophy winner when he played for Navy. Everson Walls, while not perfect, lead the league multiple times with the most interceptions in a season. (Though he did give up alot, also). Tony Dorsett, while not the greatest, was one of the better clutch running backs of his time.

I said they were OVERRATED. And they were. Particularly Tony Dorsett. He ran the ball during an era when teams had one back and predominantly rushed the ball. Yet, his number reflect that he was mediocre at best.

Sorry, he is overrated. If his mother truly loved him, she would say the same thing.

Roger Staubach is overrated too but to a lesser degree.

The reason they are mentioned is because they played for the Dallas Cowboys and “NFL Films” dubbed them “America’s Team” in one of their do*****enatries and the name stuck.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with your *****essment, regarding their stats. Has it ever occurred to you, their stats were a testament to how well rounded their offense was? If you properly *****yze team stats, you’d realize, most unsuccessful teams who has players with high stats, tend to have a one dimensional offensive scheme. Dallas, like the Patriots, had a well balanced attack, i.e. an above average running game & p*****ing game.

Earl Cambell was a great runner, but was not a smart runner. If he would’ve learned to take the path of least resistance instead of constantly running over 250lb+ linemen and tackles, he would’ve lasted another 5 years or so.

Hmmmm… that’s a good point. IF there offense was balanced.

Their offense was mainly running using ONE back….DORSETT. Which means Dorsett SHOULD have better numbers.

This is also why I say that Staubach is slightly less underrated than Dorsett. But given his fewer attempts and a competent running game he should of had a better QB ratio. Which is a formula that tends to favor efficiency over sheer numbers.

Sorry, they are both overrated.

My son who was seven at the time walked straight in looked around and asked me what I was doing? I pulled the snorkel up on my head and told him I was shooting a commercial for Sea World and to take his ***** back to bed. My wife stepped from behind the door and we laughed for the next 30 minutes. Thats why the importance of a man in his childs life is so important, whats most commonly discussed is a a father teaching his son to be a man. Bossip you cannot hide any more. You guys are owned by Moguldom Media Group. Bossip is now turning out to be just like FOX and UPN network.
You just need the African-American niche market to get started and make your money. You do not care how much you are really destroying the black community. You plan to drop Bossip as soon as you can.
