When The Checks Stop Coming In

Lion-”O” has been reportedly dropped by his record label:
Singer Omarion is no longer on Columbia Records. A source at the label confirmed that the Sony imprint decided to drop the former B2K lead singer. Omarion (real name: Omari Ishmael Grandberry) signed as a solo artist to Columbia Records after B2K broke up in December 2003. His boy band was actually signed to Sony’s Epic division. Omarion’s management and production company, The Ultimate Group (TUG) has a deal with that label and released Omarion’s good friend and business partner Marques Houston’s last two CDs through Motown.
Too bad. He’ll be alright though. We know Chris Stokes has a little something waiting for him.

Not that I’ve kept up with his sales, but I thought he was doing ok. I guess not. Maybe Sony will pick him up. If they are still working with Chris the pedophile, they might as well work with one of his victims.
Omarion, Marques Houston, B2K, all of them are nothing more than video stars. They don’t sell CD’s cause they can’t sing. Marques Houston has been making videos since the 90’s, has he ever had a top 40 single? I don’t even know how they afford all those videos.
Oh well, I guess he’ll have to do double bend over booty duty with Chris Stokes now! SMH

Omarion’s last album didn’t do so well but I’m surprised at this b/c I know he is a talented artist. But in the music biz everything is WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY…and the answer is NOTHING!
