Exclusive: Eva Marcille Talks Pregnancy, “Real Housewives” & New Xmas Movie

“Miss Me This Christmas” Airs Dec. 3 At 7 P.M. EST On TV One

She’s got a little one growing inside her, and as a result, Eva Marcille said something else has been growing – her appetite.

“I went from eating some of everything to all of everything,” the six months pregnant actress told BOSSIP. “I’m always hungry. I ate a grilled cheese before I got on our call.”

Marcille said and her beau, Atlanta mayoral candidate Michael Sterling recently went out for breakfast, and he watched her as she polished off three plates of food while he stuck to one.

“I wake up in the middle of the night craving gumbo,” she said. “Fruit is my pleasure. I go through apples and grapes like nobody’s business. My daughter always says, ‘Ma you ate all the apples!’”

Marcille co-stars in “Miss Me This Christmas,” a film about a couple in the midst of a marriage crisis during the holidays. Marcille plays the rich, quirky best friend of the lead character, played by Erica Ash.

“It’s definitely a feel-good movie,” Marcille said. “I play that girlfriend that every girlfriend needs to have. The one who tells it like it is and isn’t afraid to live outside the box. And my friend, she really needs someone right now.”

We’ll also get a chance to see Marcille and her family make their debut on the new season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Marcille said she was already close to new co-star Nene Leakes, and when she moved back to Atlanta after attending college there, it was Leakes who introduced her to the rest of the ladies.

“Even though they are black women, we’re each at different phases of our life and going through all walks of life,” she said. “To be able to pull from these ladies is amazing. I had no sisters growing up, so to be around the women, it’s very refreshing for me.”
