Orish was one of the “Original” Members of 702…She Is NOT PICTURED IN THE PICTURE ABOVE…She Also Sung On 2 Tracks off 702′s first album “No Doubt”…Also she standed-in for LaMisha when LaMisha was pregenant and had her baby…ORISH is IRISH Identical Twin Sister.

let me correct my self irish is on the left and older sister is in the middle. Orish is the one that left the group, she’s the one that past away, Irish’s twin.

Posted April 23, 2008- This past Sunday (April 20), Orish Grinstead, founding member of popular R&B girl group 702, passed away due to kidney failure. Grinstead, who was 27 years old, was also suffering from several other medical complications, including cancer which she yet had been treated for. According to sources close to Grinstead, the singer’s been plagued by her illness for quite some time and was only expected to live for several more months.

Orish formed the group, 702, with her twin sister, Irish and older sister, Lameisha in the mid-90′s before being discovered by comedian, Sinbad in the lobby of Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group was originally a quartet, but soon became a trio when Orish left the group to pursue a solo career. Shortly after, 702 released their freshmen debut, No Doubt, which produced hits such as “Steelo”, “All I Want”, “Get It Together”. The set sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.

Orish was not a part of 702 as they are shown above. Pictured above from left to right are Irish(Orish’s twin), LeMisha (the older sister of Irish and Orish), and Kameelah (the lead of the group). Orish was in the group at the very beginning and she left. She came back as a fill when LeMisha left to have a child. Then LaMisha came back and it was just the three again.

R.I.P. I’m not sure which one she is, but I remember there were twins in the group. I loved their singles. (I’m watching their song with Subway now.) Kidney failure AND cancer? Hate to say it but it sounds like she had HIV or AIDS. Those are two major diseases – and to have them at the same time? That doesn’t usually happen unless there’s an immune deficiency.

To those who don’t know…Actually…Orish was the original member of the group. When they first came out with Subway, she was on that song. However, by the time they actuall got some attention, her twin Irish had replaced her in the group. Then when they came out with the last album, Star, Orish was in the group again. So technically, she is a member of 702.
