She’s Gotta Have It Will Be Coming Back With Another Season

Netflix’s series She’s Gotta Have It will be back coming back to the streaming platform some time in the near future for a second season. The creator of the show, Spike Lee, shared the good news alongside his wife Tonya Lewis Lee while also wishing everyone a Happy New Year on Instagram.

Everyone who is apart of the show is super excited to see that their time working together isn’t done yet. DeWanda Wise (who plays Nola Darling) also posted a video to Instagram as she prepares to get backto work for the one-of-a-kind role. “Back ta werq. Season [2] is OFFICIAL!!! Can’t wait to return to BK. Congrats to aaallll us.”

According to Variety, the series has been picked up for an additional eight episodes. Nobody knows when the second season will hit the streaming giant for our viewing pleasure, but hopefully we’ll get the new episodes sometime before 2018 comes to and end. Congrats to the whole cast and crew!
