Photographer Accuses Aziz Ansari of Sexual Assault

Aziz Ansari Is The Latest In Hollywood To Be Accused Of Sexual Assault

If any of you thought the allegations of sexual assault in Hollywood were starting to slow down, you’re sorely mistaken. The latest to be accused of sexual assault is comedian and creator and star of Netflix’s Master Of None, Aziz Ansari. The woman who came forward is a Brooklyn-based photographer referred to as Grace for anonymity, and she shared her story with Babe calling her 2017 date with Ansari the worst night of her life.

Grace tells her story of how she met Aziz at an afterparty for the 2017 Emmy Awards. The two spoke about cameras, “flirted a little,” and took a few photos together before Ansari asked for her number and Grace obliged. She agreed to go on a date with the comedian after a week of texting and though she was excited for the night, she describes ending her night crying on the Uber ride home. Ansari texted her the following day saying it was nice meeting her, and she responded letting him know that his actions the previous night weren’t okay. He apologized and insisted he misread the situation.

Grace’s story of her night with Ansari describes him being rushed to finish their dinner in order to get back to the apartment. She told Babe, “I know I was physically giving off cues that I wasn’t interested. I don’t think that was noticed at all, or if it was, it was ignored.” After rushed kissing and oral sex, Grace then went to the bathroom and attempted to collect herself. When she returned, Ansari asked if everything was OK. Grace told him, “I don’t want to feel forced because then I’ll hate you, and I’d rather not hate you.” She claimed Ansari then apologized and said, “it’s only fun if we’re both having fun.” Then he proceeded with advances later in the night.

Grace said she never saw Ansari again after the painful encounter, until she saw him win a Best Actor award at the 2018 Golden Globes. It was during that speech that time all of her painful memories flooded back.

Aziz Ansari’s team has yet to comment on the situation.
