Seen here blowing medicinal marijuana…Snoop, Dre & Game are working on the most highly anticipated album in a while. For anyone that thought the West Coast was not officially back into the Hip Hop game, here is a picture and a quote below to dead that issue.

Pop the top and peep the statement released

  • m_geezey

wow!! this is a major look for not just the west coast but for hip hop in general, dr dre has been making nothing but hits since his career began, and is one of the only figures in rap that helps people under him become bosses, love or hate the game and snoop but they do an amazing job making “great music”….detox is on the way and message to dre “while you’re working on the game and snoop, how about getting d’angelo back in the studio again”

  • burrito9245

This is gonna be hot…. Move over Gay Z!

  • MagMile

West please come back!!! East Coast please step your game up,too…SOMEBODY please bring intelligence and purpose back to the art form of hip-hop. Durty South CRAP RAP must die, the ignorant slow-tongued culture of southern life has infected our communities via their music. I reiterate, West/East Coast please come back and make those southern CRAPPERS take wack music/culture back to the country where it belongs.

    50 cant say shit

  • ShavonDenise

Glad Dre finally stop letting 50 control him and work with Game. Even tho I dont like The Game’s “b*tchassness” I think he is very talented!

  • UPDOWN

Dre’ is really too old for this shyt.
The mentality here is really a reach, because they are trying to recapture what has already been done in the 90′s.Hip-hop is very different now, it’s all water, no gin or juice.

  • S H A

    Heel grappig @Lalalalala

  • Melinda

    Dre always brings it.
    This should be good.

  • memchee

aaah, can’t wait for this one!

  • charlieblanko

Plies and Soulja the future? We are in serious trouble then…SMH

It’s a double edge sword on this topic. One hand this is very sad that these three talent black
men feel as though it’s all about the money, and
not about pushing out something vital to the black
community. Dr. Dre one of the greatest hip hop
producers out here, and snoop dogg a really good
rapper and the game talented too. WHY CAN’T THEY
TAKE THAT TALENT AND USE IT FOR GOOD AND POSITIVE
INFLEUNECE TO THE CHILDREN, THAN THUGGING AND DRUG
DEALING, STRIPPERS AND SMOKING ANYTHING THEY GET
THEIR HANDS ON. AND MURDERING ANOTHER BLACK MAN OVER MONEY?. WHAT A WASTE OF A GOD GIVEN GIFT AS
AN ARTIST, TO BE GREEDY AND FOUL AND VERY, VERY
NEGATIVE TO YOUNG BLACK CHILDREN LOOKING FOR LOVE
AND SOMETHING TO IDENTIFY WITH!!!… DO THEY EVEN
TRULY KNOW THEIR AFRICAN FOREFATHERS?. COMING FROM
GREAT AND POWER BLACK MEN BEFORE OTHER MEN WHERE
EVEN THOUGHT OF!. OUR ANCESTORS IN AFRICA AND THIS
COUNTRY WOULD BE ASHAMED OF A VAST AMJORITY OF BLACKS TODAY!!!.

  • Yoda

    I think I’ll get this.

  • MagMile

@charlieblanko- I agree with your post, and you do have a valid post. I wouldn’t exactly call west coast positive either, it holds a bit of nostalgic value for me I guess…but give me gangsta rap over anything ‘durty’ any day.

  • Atrav

About time. Been a wile since an artist released a worth while album.

  • http://bossip Pimp 4 A Day

    @ Durdy Durdy.

Really? For someone who thinks Pliers and Soulja girl are the future of hip hop, you have a lot to say

  • Stil

    to The Durdy Durdy

u kno wt? ur rappers new generations irrelevant. thoz u call “old” havnt passd their times coz they still sellin. ur fukin solja and else are just sounding like backstreetboyz and they beg to have business wit guys like Dre. so shitty ignorant, shut the fk UP!

  • The Durdy Durdy

    Magpie

Dullard, please desist with your tired pseudo-intellectual, elitist steeze. I find it off-putting. Is that high fallutin’ enough for yo’ pretentious ass?

  • S. Walk(learn how to bag the shit first, THEN GET MONEY!)

If plies and soulja are the future of hip-hop then Nas is a prophet(hip hop is dead).
I was in the 9th grade when THE CHRONIC came out so I need the 3rd part of the trilogy.

  • S. Walk(learn how to bag the shit first, THEN GET MONEY!)

    Detroit Lions 24
    Chicago Bears 16

  • QUICK SIN

    @ TEXAS/LOUISIANA, right on bruh…enuff said.

  • DDub (Right? Right.)

That’s why Game ain’t been hatin’ on Jay lately. He got his first love back.

  • QUICK SIN

that Chi-town dude, Magmile thought he said something slick until that 1:14 pm post.

  • rothschild

THE DOC IS WRITING THIS ALBUM. LIKE ALL THE OTHERS.

    THANK YOU.

    THAT IS ALL.

  • QUICK SIN

Bum stickety, Bum Stickety, Rum bum I got cho rumbum.. bumbumm. – yahoo shimber me timber…after DAS FX New York lost the rap game these fools where truly rapping about nothing…

  • charlieblanko

See, I dont really hate on the youngsters hip hop culture. I actually dig it…Cold Flamez, Pacific Division, Jay BAPE and others. I appreciate an artistic approach, but not an upliftment of ignorance, like soulja and plies seem to do.

I like the song becky…but i also realize its a catchy tune that is just that…catchy! Do I listen to that madness when I am working? Hell no, but I will listen to some nas, or an old chronic album, or old ice cube or something like that.

  • I’m Just Me: KEEPING IT REAL SINCE 1983…PEOPLE SAY HATE WAY TOO MUCH AND REALLY ARE USING IT IN THE WRONG SENSE!!!

Gotta see how this turns out because I am not impressed with Snoop as of late.

    DRE LET’S GET IT!

  • I’m Just Me: KEEPING IT REAL SINCE 1983…PEOPLE SAY HATE WAY TOO MUCH AND REALLY ARE USING IT IN THE WRONG SENSE!!!

Dre doesn’t look bad in the pic. Almost like the cutie we once knew. He was looking TOSSED in that Dr. Pepper commercial.

[...] Also Dr Dre is back in the studio with The Game and Snoop Dogg as he continues to master his Detox album project, STILL nobody knows when it’s actually gonna be released but at least there’s eveidence of it happening. Check the pic and statement here [...]

  • The Durdy Durdy

    Magpie

You mean the same Denzel, who has gone on record durin’ an Essence interview re, his erstwhile strayin’ from his marriage with Pauletta? – Not that I blame him, tho…Afterall, Pauletta has gone to seed in her old age. Choose your idols more wisely, Magpie, it’ll save from subsequent disappointment and heartache. No need to thank me, i’m here to help.

  • KrusherKronkite

I hate to say this but the album is gonna shatter records!

  • turkishjamaican

Yall are really going HARD on this. Um, I always liked Dre and Snoop. The Game is alright, The Documentary was cool. Why don’t they hurry up and put it out there for us to be the judge!

    OH,
And why yall hatin on Illinois like that? Damn….

  • Scoopy

    The Bears have won 48-24.

  • First Timer

This album is long over due. Cant wait for it to come out. For the record all these guys promote the same BS. They are all about the money so the last thing I will ever expect from these mainstream artist is a positive message( east, west, or south). With the exception of a underground and some mainstream artists…they all part of the machine.
