Government never comes in under or even close to estimate for bids. That goes triple for Chicago. The games were given to the poorest city, not necessarily the one ith the best bid. Chicago was out liberaled by the Olympic committee. I for one am glad as I don;t want my tax dollars paying for the olympic overages as I live in IL

I couldn’t agree more! Hosting the Olympics costs MILLIONS of $$$ to bring your facilities up to par for the IOC’s liking. Good luck to Brazil on that!
