WTH! am I the only person who doesn’t like this 80’s pic of the two girls? The over done make-up on the eyebrows, and the Red lipstick on them looks like a no-no 80’s Don’t!! I don’t like the cover. There both beautiful but the make-up obviously is done by some white person.

Is anybody going to address the fact that Jourdan Dunne is pregnant and not married and on the cover of a teen magazine? Come on America..is this the example we want to set for our teens? How is this ok? Im just saying…

While I’m all for mainstream fashion(white) and magazines(white) recognizing more women of color; I’d love to see more recognition of black women’s beautifully unique physical qualities as well as the beautiful black women with the stereotypical (noted as the ideal look of beauty in fashion and magazines) Caucasian/European features.
Chanel Iman looks like her parents were brother and sister.
Let’s acknowledge the fact that though Jouradan Dunn maybe pregnant, atleast she is owning up to her responsiblites…instead of running away with it and getting an ABORTION!!!!!!!!!!

Jourdan isn’t a teenager anymore she is 19 here in europe we are adult at 18 not 21 like in America.
So because Jourdan’s a teenager and pregnant she should not be on covers? Should her parents also ship her off to a home for unwed young mothers? This is 2009 not 1969. While we shouldn’t encourage young men and women to have children at young age we shouldn’t turn our backs on them or stop encouraging them to pursue their goals either.
I think its great that Jourdan is actually having her child and not running to get an abortion, personally I think jourdan is a million times better than chanel iman, who btw is not black but MIXED.
Americans need to know that your “one drop rule” doesn’t make any sense.
But hey, I’m glad they’re getting magazine covers from iD to teenvogue, which means they’re getting paid, so maybe now chanel iman could go and replace those weird veneers. The girl looks like a clown with them.
