Solange’s New Jawn

Check out Solange’s promo pics for her second album Hadley Street Dreams, which is set to drop on 8.26.08. Her sneak preview track “God Given Name” wasn’t bad at all. We’ll have to wait and see if the rest of the album is as tight.

This is a great shoot. She is beautiful. And what is wrong with bushy eyebrows? Its obvious some of you have never picked up a Vogue magazine or gone to fashion week..

The song is ok- but clausterphobic is not a word, its claustrophobic, and putting in a few “big words” doesn’t make the song new or clever. I like the concept of getting out of B’s shadow, but Solange can’t sing for *****. Stick to writing, voice only p*****able. I for one can not wait until the album drops. I rarely buy music, I will spend money on this one. The three songs that I have heard thus far are so groovy…she’s being lyrical, it allows u to live through the music. I like it alot :=)
