Chris Rock is getting sued by Regina Kimbell, a director who claims she showed Rock her film “Nappy Roots” in 2007 and that’s where the idea for “Good Hair” came from.
According to Regina, she showed Chris her 2005 documentary on the set of his sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” back in 2007 and he stole the premises of her film to make his own “Good Hair.” “Nappy Roots features celebs who discuss different hairstyles such as the Afro, the Jheri curl and dreadlocks. Chris Rock’s film pretty much does the same. Regina is seeking no less than 5 million in damages.
We guess good hair ain’t so good after all.
