Great JOB!!! God forgive me and I wish no one the loss of their job. Ignorance has to be dealt with harshly and as a grown woman she should have known there would be reprecussions. Wrong choices brings wrong consequences. Lesson learned.

First of all why was the cartoonist unnamed? You want to put some filth like this, put a name with it, so we know who we are going after. I HATE THE POST!! This is worse than a rag. The Post is a racially motivated POS anyway.

I am sure she should sue.

    I’m surprised they fired her…

It’s no surprise considering that Rupert Murdoch, the same man who owns Fox News Network is heading a racially insensitive media outlet. News Papers nationwide are closing its door because frankly no one read news papers anymore, with the internet fifty thousand TV channels. Its has become obsolete and I say good reddens!

Her expressing her disdain for the prejudices towards our president and our race in general was ignorant? Please explain…

    @ Yasmin

    They Should’ve Been Done That.

Why? Did you like the cartoon? Did that amuse you? Were you offended that she spoke against it?

  • Black to the Bone

The people commenting about she should have been fired OBVIOUSLY did not read and comprehend!

The editor who was fired SPOKE OUT AGAINST the RACIST CARTOON and she made mention of how the obvious digs were based on that fact that OBAMA is BLACK. She was fired for being AGAINST THE RACIAL STEREOTYPING and STANDING UP FOR WHAT SHE BELIEVED…but yet the cartoonist is still employed.

    Agreed @ Alrighty Then.
They Should’ve Fired Her Months Ago, When She First Decided To Post That Unnecessary Cartoon.

    You guys are idiots!

Its All Good That She Is An Emmy AWard Winner And All Of That.
But That Cartoon Was A Bit Extra.
That’s Why She Should’ve Been Fired From Jump.
She Was Out Of Line For That.

  • http://deleted Yasmin

How Is She Speaking Out AGAINST the RACIST CARTOON??
    She Made The Damn Cartoon.
    Uhm Hello.

  • Alrighty Then...

@Yasmin – no, what I meant was that if they were going to fire her because of her speaking out against the cartoon, they would have done it months ago. I don’t believe her firing was connected to the pic.

  • The Official Mrs. Carter

Yasmin baby I need you to go back and READ the damn article SHE SPOKE AGAINST the cartoon she did not create, draw, edit, or condone the damnt thing…damn the purpose for blogs is for you to READ or did you go to school with R Kelly??

Just to help you out a bit (sense its obvious you need it) here is what SHE said about what the UNNAMED cartoonist published…

“I neither commissioned or approved it. I saw it in the paper yesterday with the rest of the world. And, I have raised my objections to management.”

  • Nick In ATL

People- please DO BETTER. Why would a black person do this cartoon. C’mon that makes no sense. She is the one who got fired. Embarrassment~
