Whitney’s up to her usual brand of madness again:
“R&B diva Whitney Houston disappointed a sold-out crowd who came to see a rare performance by the trouble-prone singer at the Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago on Sunday. Houston opened her show with ‘Its Not Right, But Its Okay’ and by her third song, ‘Saving All My Love,’ the once soprano’s newfound tenor tone was in full rasp. Wearing a white gown with a single shoulder strap, Houston skipped around the stage and continuously shouted to the crowd: ‘I love you Trinidad !’ Unfortunately, the concert was in Tobago! Locals shouted back each time: ‘This is Tobago!’”
The days when Whitney belted out those classic tunes are officially behind her. We’d actually feel sorry for her if she didn’t earn $3 million bucks for that mediocre 30 minute performance.

The old Whit is gone. There is no way to hold on to her level of vocal ability with a decades long cigarette AND crack addiction. Her cousin Dionne could have told her that.
I’m sure her new music will be in her new lower range which is ok. She will just have a tough time singing the old songs.

I am not surprise. Whitney’s God given voice left her almost a decade ago but people were to focused on her habit. It does not matter if Whitney clean up her act & never touch drugs again in her life. She has already damaged her pipes from smoking cigarettes & crack. She will never sound the same.

It’s not as bad as it sounds. Trinidad and Tobago is a twin island state, sometimes people call it Trinidad for short even though it’s not technically correct.
Yeah Tobagonians aren’t wild about that, but it’s not the worst mistake to make.
At the end of the day, Whitney’s stepma is Trini and she was the first BIG international artist to play there back in the day….so we love her.
Plus give the woman props she was singing live, how many pop artists these days so that? Britney etc all just mime onstage to a recording.
Now I heard a totaly different review. I think you all just want to say something bad. I know people who were at that show some of my friends and all they kept saying was the queen is back. Now they did say toward the end of her show the voice got a little horse. But they want to find out where she is singing again to see her again. So I think you all are lying.
