The issue wasn’t their personal texting, it was their testifying under oath that they did not have any culpability in the unlawful firing of those cops (who were investigating the illegal activities at Kwame’s stripper party), which costs the city of detroit millions of dollars in legal fees and settlements + while under oath before the grand jury, they both denied having an affair.
