Mya’s Broadway Checks Stopped Coming In

Mya Broadway gig is on hold because of a broken foot:
Mya’s Broadway dreams have taken a big hit – she has been forced to postpone her debut in “Chicago” with a broken foot. The Grammy Award-winning star was slated to begin a nine-week run as Velma Kelly in the hit musical on May 12. Producer Barry Weissler says, “Speaking for the entire Chicago creative team, we all wish her a speedy recovery, and look forward to experiencing her portrayal of Velma Kelly as soon as possible.”
Some people just have the worst luck, we wish her a speedy recovery. Poor thang.

Mya is like WHOA, like WHOA. She is a triple threat in show business. She will rebound from this for sure. She also paid her dues in this business, and is deserving of any awards that she has earned.
That check did not stop. She’s under contract, performing or not. That’s why she’s coming back and not being replaced.
Mya probably gonna come on here and curse y’all out..i remember when she called the radio and beefed with Funk Master Flex for insinuating she was a *****(orsomethinglikethat) it was hella funny!
That’s messed up. I’m sure she was rehearsing like crazy. I hope she gets better soon. I think she will do excellent on Broadway. She has IT.
I think Broadway suits her better.
She hasn’t had the greatest of careers, but she’s a scrappy lil’ something or other. I like that about her. She keeps it moving. Speedy recovery to her.
