I agree with the interview was a little OFF. and it seems like he’s mentioning all the bad stuff that happend in his life trying to earn cool points or street credit or something. why not mention how he started singing, how he ended up signing with Luda and why he left? The song sounds good, it’s different and that’s what he’s looking for. He should colab with Andre 3000 and john legend, his style reminds me of a singer version of Andre. It’s going to be hard for him to push this type of music though because people are used to the usher’s, jaheim’s, tank’s and Omarion’s.( don’t get me wrong i love all of them) but i can feel what he’s saying when he says soul r&b….shout out to Anthony Hamilton. they sometimes don’t get the credit they deserve because they are actually singing about true love instead of fu**ing somebody at the club.
