VH1 is owned by MTV, which is owned by Viacom (also owns BET). I mean, if the powers that be wanted him to perform @ VH1 it would’ve happened, and he probably couldn’t prevent those artists from performing if they were truly expected to, since Jay isn’t on Def Jam anymore.
