THE JURY WAS INEPT IN A SENSE THAT THE ONLY QUESTION THEY ASKED THE JUDGE WAS IF THE PROSECUTOR COULD MAKE HER TAKE THE WITNESS STAND. THE JUDGE CAME BACK AND TOLD THEM THAT THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW THE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, WHICH STATED THAT THEY COULDN’T USE THE FACT THAT THE ACCUSED DIDN’T TAKE THE WITNESS STAND, AS HAVING ANY BEARING ON THE CASE. WHILE KEYON PITTMAN (FIANCE) WAS TESTIFYING, THE JURY WAS LOOKING AT HIM AND THEN WOULD LOOK AT HER DEMEANOR. KEYON, BORROWED HER TENNIS SHOES, WHICH WERE FOUND TO HAVE BEEN AT THE CRIME SCENE. HE HAD A KEY TO HER APARTMENT. SHE BORROWED A GUN AND A KNIFE FROM HER COUSIN, DUE TO A BREAK-IN AT HER APARTMENT, A MONTH PRIOR. BUT THEN AFTER THE MURDER, SHE GAVE THE WEAPONS BACK TO THE COUSIN. I’ve been following this case and there is way too much reasonable doubt. I don’t believe she did it at all. The fiancee provided the prosecution with all the evidence they had…they had no evidence outside of what he gave them. He was the one cheating with multiple women, outside Hughes…I just can’t believe they found her guilty with very little circumstantial evidence. Anywho, I pray they don’t sentence her to death and that they are able to appeal this verdict. They need to find the real killer – Keyon (the fiancee) guilty!!!

Well unfortunately the men and women who get side pieces are lacking something whether sexually or psychologically. A solid relationship takes alot of work and for those who have loving relationship that is effortless (are sooooo lucky). But generally you need to equally “wanting” individuals to be in it all the way.
The man or woman that will seek another is lacking intimacy, or great converstation, they mostly need a level of attention that they lack at home (most of the time its something so simple) and of course the need for sexual gratification is the final call.

Why people look for others outside of a solid marriage or relationship…they’re are various reasons but what is boils down too…being strong enough to resist the urge, communicate the problems with your partner, and work hard at finding the reasons you are with the one you love.

Those who seek others..took the easy road. And they convince themselves that its just the easier thing to do because they cant see a change in their current situation.

I have a daughter that totally adores me (and I loves it) a son who’s growing to be a fine handsome gentleman and a wife who is absolutly the best thing a man can ever ask for. i blame the man because you don’t go around playing with peoples mind, heart, and emotions. You don’t know what people are capable of. and he didn’t love his fiancee as much as he portrayed he did otherwise he wouldn’t have put a woman carrying his child in such danger. Even if he wanted a side piece, he should’ve called it quits when he became engaged.

and it kinda sounds to me as if he had mind control over ms. Hughes and knew her weaknesses and knew how much she wanted to be with him. he may have set this whole thing up so he could be with the woman he married a year later. and had Hughes do his dirty work. they (say) he put the gun in Hughes apartment. I believe he provoked her and led her into this. although that is not an excuse for her to fall for it and do it but some people are weak minded. And for the woman who married him after all of this most have been desparate as hell. because who would marry someone knowing the fact that his future wife and child got killed over his selfish a**.

I do think it’s possible to love more than one person, but this case is so chock-full of craziness, I don’t know. I recently read an article on MSNBC on polyamorous relationships so I realize they exist and in some cases, they work. It’s so complicated.

I followed this trial and in my opinion she did not commit this crime, me and over 50% of the viewers feel she was set up by her so called man. Lookup the specifics and see if you still feel the same about her guilt. He is already remarried by the way to one of his OTHER women who testified for him at the trial.

I also forgot to mention that he had at least three other women and was missing for some time when the crime went down. Not that it matters but HE IS NO PRIZE and he also wore the same size shoe and shared shoes with the defendant which if you follow old sayings, he could not have been putting it down that much wearing women’s shoes.

First of all, if you wear the same size shoe as your woman something is wrong with that picture.
The scene was a bloody mess, but all they found was her shoes, in the box, in the closet??? Somebody put them there.
He was involved in some way, but the defense lawyers only defense in the trial was it could have been him. Even his alibi witness said he wasn’t at basketball practice for an hour, and didn’t run the practice at all, the day before a big game (he was head coach). He was on his cell phone with her on repeated calls around the time of the murder. And burglary??? What was she supposed to be stealing, she was jealous and snapped.
I don’t believe this case warrants the death penalty only because all of the evidence was circumstantial, and there should have been reasonable doubt, or there is still doubt.

Plus when he found the BM in the garage bloody y would he run to the neighbor’s house instead of calling 911 immediately not only that he called the girlfriend to come to the scene but also called other women on his cell while at the crime scene. the police took the stand and when asked, said “we would not go to trial as of yet, because there is still a lot more to the story. the husband’s involvement would be further investigated”(even though there wasn’t any incriminating evidence to support such). The husband had something to do with it and the cherry on the cake is that he’s married and has been so after this all happened. he’s a creep. The teacher wound up getting 2 consecutive life terms. She will die in prison.Her defense had a good closing argument. God Bless the families involved.
