This is not her second time being in financial trouble it’s about her third or fourth time. Several years ago she almost lost a house and has been sued numerous times. It does not matter how much money you make if you can’t manage it.

People need to realasize that Toni has been terrible at managing her finances for a long time. She was having financial problems back when her sister had their own singing group. Toni has made the money she just is not wise in her spending. She has been sued by stylist,designers, banks and everybody else. Manage your money better sweetheart.

I usually never post, but I think this is a horrible story. She has an autistic child and has had health problems herself, preventing her from performing. Anyone in that same situation would have financial problems.. and let’s not forget, it has been a while since she had an album out.

The reason Toni is broke, is because she’s married to man who hasn’t worked in years. She seems to forget that you can do bad all by yourself.

I think Toni got caught up early-on in a certain lifestyle, and simply didn’t do her homework when it came to understanding her fiscal limitations. I also think that Toni just made a lot of moves that weren’t very smart, and now she’s paying for them. She’s also had a lot of health problems and we all know the plight and costs of private health care in this country. I don’t know what goes on in her marriage and it’s none of my business, but one would think that if she’s married to MC’s producer, he could step up and be a man about it.

Anyway, good luck, Toni. You got those kids and I hope you can work it out. Vegas won’t last forever, so looks like you need to formulate a new strategy – starting with a strong financial consultation….STAT!

There are a few reasons.
The first reason is a good reason.
By mortgaging the property you get to off set your capital gains tax against the interest cost of your mortgage. Not to mention the interest that the bank will pay you just to keep your money with them. Often times if you have enough money in the bank, the interest alone will pay for your monthly mortgage.

This way you can pay off your mortgage without ever having to touch your principle savings.
It’s never a good idea to buy a home cash even if you can afford to.

However you must not tap into your principle savings, only for crucial emergencies.
This does not include cars, yachts, and planes. These things you buy with current incoming cash flows, not money in your savings accounts.

However celebrities in there forever quest to keep up with the Joneses often make purchases with their eyes, and not necessarily with what they can truly afford. This also has some association with the allusion that if you are making $20,000,000 a year you will always be making that amount.

As a celebrity you have to realize that there is a small window of opportunity when you will be raking in your maximum lifetime earning potential. Top Line, or Q rating is what it’s sometimes called.
In other words on Monday you may be the hottest thing on earth, and on Tuesday you may be as cold as the North Pole.

Many celebrities lose sight of this fact therefore at the end of their maximum earning potential or earnings if any, they find themselves broke without a joke to tell.

Toni Braxton is just one of the many, many celebrities that will find themselves in the same boat within the next few years.
