After Kanye’s VMA meltdown, Taylor Swift has been getting all types of sympathy work. First, she was getting major pub with appearances on The View and recently she was on Oprah.  Now, she’ll be hosting Saturday Night Live, a first for the country singer.

Along with her recent appearances, she’s also been nominated for six American Music Awards which is more than Michael Jackson.  We also hear that Kanye got NO American Music Awards nominations meaning he may not be attending the award show, ensuring Taylor will be able to receive her awards the proper way without any interruptions.

Damn, before Kanye acted a fool, America could give less than two sh*ts about this little girl, and now she’s a household name.  Damn, we hate to say it, but Ye can turn anyone into a superstar… look at Amber.
