^^No, I certainly understand that. My comparison was that Melyssa –and most other video models– say they use videos to break into acting, but Mel has been at it for a while and hasn’t made any real moves in the acting world. Lauren seriously did a handful of movies and has had memorable roles in movies and even played Turtle’s girl on Entourage. Melyssa played a flight attendant on Entourage.

I’m not trying to belittle Mel in anyway, because she turned herself into a commodity in the hip-hop video world and made a career off of it- good for her. But seriously, her career hasn’t passed that step.

It’s just a trip to listen to women say how video/mag modeling will expose them to acting opportunities and help them reach new plateaus in their careers when it really doesn’t.

Ok…..I am confused. Somebody please tell me why is simple looking woman suppose to be one of the top video hoes or models in the game. She looks like the average girl on the streets of Atlanta. I see this all day every day. If you photoshop her 2 shades darker, add 3 inches to the hips, and give her jet black hair, THAT’S ME. She is not even toned. Maxium didn’t even bother to touch up her abs.
