A new witness has emerged in R Kelly’s child pornography case:
A woman is set to testify at R. Kelly’s upcoming child pornography trial that she had a three-way sexual encounter with Kelly and the allegedly underage girl shown in the video at the heart of the case. The 41-year-old R&B superstar is accused of videotaping himself having sex with a girl estimated to be 13 or 14. He has pleaded not guilty. Jury selection is set to begin Friday. As part of the case, prosecutors claim to have identified the girl in the videotape. This alleged victim is now in her 20s. Kelly’s lawyers plan to argue — and the alleged victim will reportedly testify — that she is not the girl in the tape. But the prosecution’s new witness could undermine that defense, since she will identify the girl, sources with knowledge of the matter told the Chicago Sun-Times. In addition, the witness is expected to say the girl was underage at the time of their encounter.

I have long recognized that R. Kelly is a very emotionally imbalanced, dangerous man, and each story I read is further confirmation of this sad fact. And the comments in defense of his behavior no longer shock me — when the news first broke in the video, I came across women who labeled his young victims as “fast” and proclaimed their loyalty to this perverted artist (and I thought that women naturally felt protective towards children). While I hope R. Kelly is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, I know that this is only one example of the many violations of minors — many of which go unreported — in our community.
There is a moral breakdown among us that allows sexual predators the entry to harm our children. While I blame R. Kelly for his heinous acts, I also hold the parents of these young girls responsible for not protecting them from these alleged crimes that will surely follow them throughout their lives. I also believe that our broken family structure has also allowed our children to be put at greater risk. I’ve read stories in the past several months of children as young as infancy who have been sexually molested or assaulted, often by acquaintances or boyfriends of their mothers. It’s depressing.

Although there are many cases like you described in the church. MOST of them don’t play out that way.
In most cases the adults (priests) gain the trust of these children/adolescence (of both genders) and prey on them emotionally. Many of the victims in those church incidents agreed to what was taking place at the time.
So following the logic of the R. Kelly defenders we should exalt the priests also.

Get your education, stop having children out of wedlock & watch the improvement of the black family. These kids get in trouble before they even get out of elementary school. No one is to blame, but #1 their dumb mothers who had them out of wedlock & #2 the dumb sperm donors that had no intentions of being with them. Wake up & get your act together. This situation is like the domino effect & it effects us all regardless of our upbringing & educational background. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t see these ignorant, unwed & uneducated mothers dragging two or three kids about the same size & pushing a baby stroller. This is very sad, but only they can make the changes themselves. They put themselves in this situation when all they needed to do was use their head & not have children until they have made a life for themselves & can give their children a better life & a father. Our young boys are killing each other everyday. Where are their fathers? Most of them are being raised by their moms who can’t control them when they become a certain age or get involved with other young people headed to a life of crime, self destruction & death. It’s all black people problem & it’s a problem all black people need to fix YESTERDAY.
