Diddy hit up 106 & Park to drop off his new video, and incidentally, a diamond studded ring. During his appearance, he threw cash into the crowd and his ring flung off along with the cash.
Security frisked the whole audience and some people even tweeted about how violated they felt:
Prior to frisking the audience, Diddy and Dirty Money were throwing fake $100 bills mixed with about $25-100 singles in real cash. Once the audience saw that there were some real bills mixed in with the fake, an uproar occurred and the audience went crazy. Diddy looked down at his hands only to find his ring missing. He thinks it flew off while he was throwing fake money.
Staffers for 106 & Park say that the ring was worth about $20,000 and the security team came up empty handed after frisking each audience member before they exited the building. Diddy tweeted on the situation of course:
Either Diddy doesn’t have insurance on the ring or it actually meant something to him but to frisk the whole audience… Chop that up Diddy!!!
