NeNe Leakes Confirms Gregg Leakes’ Colon Cancer Diagnosis On RHOA

NeNe Leakes gave fans full details of her hubby’s diagnosis during the “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” season 11 premiere. As previously reported NeNe confirmed that her husband Gregg was diagnosed with cancer and things were so dire that at one point he wrote her a “goodbye letter.”

Now more details have been revealed including the fact that Gregg’s cancer is stage 3 colon.

According to NeNe, Gregg first experienced symptoms related to the disease in May and complained of pain before being hospitalized and having part of his colon removed.

“It was Cinco de Mayo,” said NeNe. “Gregg was in excruciating pain. Like, I’ve never seen him say, ‘I’m hurting so bad, the pain is so bad in my stomach.’ And finally he said to me, ‘Take me to the hospital.’ “

“We just weren’t prepared to hear that,” said NeNe.

“They cut my colon out, my heart got bigger,” said Gregg. “I don’t need it. It’s gone. It was infected.”

NeNe also added that she usually breaks down over her husband’s diagnosis while alone in her bedroom or while alone in the car.

“I’ve put on a brave face but I have my moments in my bedroom, usually alone,” she admitted. “I’ve had many moments in my car. If my car could talk it’d be like, ‘This b*** cries too much.'”

Sheesh, we’re sad to hear about Gregg’s diagnosis but he seems to be in good spirits.
