People seem to think that black+white or black+latino = cute baby. That is CLEARLY not the case and it’s sad that so many people in 2008 are still calling someone with lighter skin and a DIFFERENT texture of hair cute no matter what the heck they actually look like. I personnally don’t say they cute because they biracial. Im actually one of those people that refuse to consider biracial as black but hey that is my opinion. And i love the blackness of my skin and my people. I don’t think that having 25% of black in you would make you black!

The only people who call biracial people black are resentful whites and blacks who hate that a person with any black blood has access to white idenitity and privilege.

Calling biracial people black is a crib in the barrel strategy started by slave masters and field slaves in effort to hinder, hold back, undermind, and erase the WHOLE identity and social standing of biracial people.

I wish Obama would identify as biracial and be proud of it. But instead he panders to the anti-biracial prejudice unfortunately harbored by a lot of black people.

Forcing and insisting that biracial people be black is rooted in envy and resentment. Because one can be biracial and still be proud of both their white and black heritage.

Geneticists would tell you that the black gene is stronger than the white gene..black is dominant..white is recessive..green and blue eyes are recessive..this is a biological fact..that is why if you have on drop of “black blood” so to speak..you are black…bi-racial is not a race. Black people need to be proud of your race..Read about your history and study some genetics and you would see that there is much to be proud about. Leave racism to ignorant people and lets try to educate them..Education works because there were many white racists who have since changed because they were willing to be educated.
