The Star Of The Musical Called Out Kanye On Twitter

Usually, Kanye West is the one interrupting shows and speaking his mind when he’s upset about something.

But this week, the tables have turned and a Broadway actor came for Ye’s entire Twitter fingers after he wasn’t paying attention to an opening night show.

According to New York Daily News, Ye and wifey Kim Kardashian were at the opening for The Cher Show on Monday. However, while the cast was giving it their all onstage, Kanye allegedly had his eyes locked to his phone and it totally distracted the performers. The show, which is based on the singer Cher‘s life, soon became all about Kanye.

Jarrod Spector, who plays Cher’s late ex-husband and former singing partner Sonny Bonno, was NOT having it.

He hopped on Twitter while the show was still going on and tweeted Yeezy, saying “Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.”

Passive aggressive perfection.

After Spector delicately snatched Kanye’s MAGA scalp, Kanye felt some remorse and tweeted back at Jarrod, writing, “the dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim and I grab each other’s hand and sing ‘I got you babe.’ Please pardon my lack of etiquette. We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this master piece.”

Mhm.

What happened in Act I, scene five Kanye?!

Anyways, despite Kanye’s apology, folks in the comment section still weren’t here for the rudeness. Emily DeArdo wrote, “I love how audience members think that they’re invisible to those of us on the stage.”

“Ridiculous. What a waste of the seat,” one Lisa Mahon wrote.

The Cher Show is currently playing at the Neil Simon Theatre. It follows Cher from childhood to meeting Bono on the Sunset Strip in California to accomplishing her career dreams, and all the ups and downs that come with it. Three different actresses play the now 72-year-old Cher through different stages in her life.

Just some fun facts in case Kanye missed it.
