After the release of Usher’s new single Papers hit the radio, people instantly thought the inspiration for the song came from Tameka, but the writer of the song says the song ain’t all about her.
Yeah Right… We Don’t Believe You!!!
Sean Garrett, the writer of the song, says some of the lyrics are about Usher’s bitter marriage and others aren’t. He says that he wrote the song eight months ago before Usher was even thinking about a divorce. Sean also says Usher was apprehensive about releasing the song but after such positive feedback on it, he decided it was worth it.
Eight months ago, Usher was good and ready to sign those papers. Sorry Sean, you’re going to have to do a little bit more than that to try and convince us. From Confessions to Papers, Usher has no problem airing his dirty laundry. So ladies, how would you feel if you were the topic of public humiliation and discussion?
