I have a comment about some of the racist stuff being posted here by both extremes. I’ll tell you the same thing I tell my northern inlaws, “If you don’t like it, get out…” America is a *****ed up, wonderful, and rewarding country. I look at conditions in a substantial portion of Africa and would not wish it on anyone…Poverty is rampant, malnourishment is a norm, AIDS is out of control and one of the primative “cures” is to have sex with a virgin no matter how young. I am an American mutt. I have American Indian, Norwegian, most of Europe, and yes African American blood and I’m a female. That does not mean I want to abandon my country to endure the hardships/freedoms of another. Get real! Living here is a privilege. Yes, it’s harder for some than others just as it is anywhere. On the plus side, your daughter is not likely to get raped so some idiot can claim being cured from AIDS. I am a Democrat, Progressive, against the war, liberal. But before remarks are made about what a terrible place this is to live, and accusations are made suggestion we are dividing blacks from one continent to the other and that the US government created AIDS to weaken/kill African Americans, you should do some serious research…
