I’m glad to see leaders stand up and take a stand for justice but I hate that it was Al Sharpton. He’s always the first to step out like he’s the voice of black people when most don’t agree with his stance. Take for instance the Duke Lacrosse case he was the first one down in NC talking about the way the treated this case because the female was middle class black and these guys were white from a rich prestegious university. He jumped in that case feet first and then it turns out the girl was lying and the prosecuter was being overzealous just trying to get reelected.After all the drama hr caused and the extensive damage their reputation after the facts came out he just slid out of sight with no apology or anything.

I commend Al Sharpton for speaking out for truth and justice. You may not like his perm or his diction but you must admire a man who has been assaulted and imprisoned for speaking out for his beliefs. Justice does not happen by osmosis. People must shout and illuminate the injustices. Al has the voice and the media savvy to put America’s moments of racial disgrace in plain view. Al I applaud you. Keep up the good work.
