I agree with you, he could have been wwrongfully accused of being in the middle of the whole situation. Now about his “shout out” I think he went about it the wrong way. Yeah you are trying to send your condolences to the family but be more considerate about it. A family is grieving hard over their lost, just be thankful that you still have the air in your body to breathe. But to the real MURDERERS what goes around comes back 10fold, so you wont know wen until it sneak up on you. Just like yall did to the Derrion.

this is bull…there is no justice anymore. her child is gone due to senseless and ignorant violence and they are letting the people BACK out onto the streets to do it to another child. so sad!!! so sad!!!

To all of those who are NOT from Chicago and don’t have the full details…let me enlighten you. 1st of all it was a very chaotic group fight with everybody hitting everybody. It was senseless and should have been nipped in the bud wayyyy before it escalated to Derrions death – and I’m blaming school officials, parents and Chicago Police Dept for not taking action! Secondly, please keep in mind that Derrion Albert WAS also a participator in the fight, he could have very easily been in jail right now for beating someone else’s child to death, just so happen sadly he was the one who died. You still have numerous children who were severely injured in this fight, one child is even blind in one eye (WTF). So, let’s look at the whole picture before we start to judge and hop on the media bandwagon!
