The Obamas 507

We’re nearing the finish line, and after meeting with success in North Carolina, Obama is out in front:

“‘We have seen that it’s possible to overcome the politics of division and distraction, that it’s possible to overcome the same old negative attacks that are always about scoring points and never about solving our problems,’ Obama said at a victory rally in Raleigh, North Carolina.”

It’s really rather pitiful to watch Hillary Clinton is clinging to those false hopes of getting the nomination. That ho needs to sit down for real.

Obama ’08 – YES WE CAN!!!!

Can we please stop calling her a ho’? It makes everything a little less classy. I don’t like the broad or anything, but i’m just saying…

  • Sir Left Foot Lucious (fka Keepin’ It Real – D’Original)

Hillary Rodham Clinton the “writings on the wall” and it’s time for you to bow out gracefully – NOW!!!

  • lila

Oh and she barely won yesterday. You could tell her confidence was shattered during that speech last night (not only hers but Bill’s and Chelsea too).

  • that one girl

That was pitiful yesterday seeing Hilary beg 4 money during her “acceptance” speech.

    YES WE CAN 08!!!!!!!!!

  • Hope

He gave a fabulous speech!!! Hilary needs to bow out NOW! She is destroying the party and even if she won every single one of the primaries that’s left she can’t beat him! The party is being torn apart thanks to her.

If it was Obama losing at this point they would have long ago forced him out! The superdelegates need to speak up now and end this before things get worse.

What happened to the $10mill she claims she raised in one night after PA win. That was what, about a month ago? Funny how she claimed to raise this money in one night but has never shown any proof. Plus she’s given her own pathetic campain money out of her own pockets AGAIN, since then, $6.4mill dollars. She needs to wrap it up!

seriously, if you people are the ones voting for Sen. Obama, then God help us. I want to be on his team, but people such as yourselves who have no class make undecided voters look the other way.

  • obama

hillary is a wh&re, obama is still leadng the superdelegate, and the only reason she won indiana yesterday is because of the senior’s vote!!!

  • Lush-Us Lipps

    OBAMA ’08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NotoriousOne

    @ Somer…

Not only does Hillary want to count FL and MI…she’s now saying that if they’re not going to count them, they should increase the votes needed from 2,025 to 2,225. Like you said, she thought she was gonna have this wrapped up back in March and now she’s getting desperate. Comical!

    OBAMA ’08 & ’12!!

    YES WE CAN! &

    YES WE WILL!

  • NotoriousOne

    @ Octavia…

“If Hillary really loved this nation like she claims, she would back out with some grace and dignity.”

Yeah but the fact still stands that she just feels like she’s ENTITLED to the presidency. WTF! Like you said, DESPERATE!

  • Sydney (the real one)

Yes, the writing’s on the wall for Sen. Clinton, but I think this matter will be decided by the superdelegates. There’s a lot coming out today, but the bottom line is this fight is becoming more and more futile for Hills, and Obama is looking more and more like the chosen nominee.

This is from the NY Times:

“Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign acknowledged this morning that even if all delegates from Michigan and Florida were seated at the Democratic convention, she would not have enough delegates to claim the presidential nomination.

This suggests that the campaign has determined that one of the major avenues to the nomination is almost certainly closed off and that if Mrs. Clinton intends to pursue it, she will have to look elsewhere — most likely to an appeal to the superdelegates to give the nomination to Mrs. Clinton.”

  • Sydney (the real one)

    FYI –

“Former Sen. George McGovern, an early supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton, urged her to drop out of the Democratic presidential race and endorsed her rival, Barack Obama.”

  • NC CHICK

Give NC the respect due!!!!! We know what time it is. Time to step the game up people lets get this man in there

  • Lady Architect

    undecided,

You shouldn’t judge a candidate based on a celebrity gossip entertainment site. Go on his website and look at his credentials, read his plans, read articles from his endorsers, read stats, and make you personal decision that way. If you look to this site then you would be lost. People on here express their personal opinions and you can’t judge a candidate based off a blog site. Wish you will on your decision.

    Hey NotoriousOne

  • devon

    @coperatecutiesshay

i hope u are the one on the right, in the pictue cause the other one is mad UGLY!!!!

  • NotoriousOne

    @ Lady Architect…what’s good Lady?

Yeah when you hafta tell someone that they need to get their political info from a source OTHER than a gossip site, that’s clue #1 that they not operating w/ a full deck. Obama can do w/out undecided’s vote!

  • Hope

Seriously if your still undecided you shouldn’t even be allowed to vote! They’ve only been campaigning for damn near two years now. Buy a freaking clue…pathetic!

Also, about that Hillary should go independent thing.

Some people don’t know their history be/c the same thing happened w/ Henry Truman. There was a split in his party and alot of people thought that he would lose b/c of it and it turned out that it would be one of the biggest upsets in American history.

  • Link

I, too, also think that it is time for Hillary to drop out gracefully b/c too many things are not going her way:

    1. Obama is out spending her money wise.

    2. They margin of victory is very different. Everytime Obama wins a state it is by 15-20 percent and sometimes 30 percent while on the other hand Hillary is winning by 5-10 percent margins.

    3. The math is not going to add up. Yesterday was her best chance to get back in the race but it didn’t happen. All the other states left do not have alot of delegates left for her to catch Obama.

  • NotoriousOne

    @ Yo Mama…

And you know what, if white, middle America is still THAT racist (which I believe they are) that they would rather vote for someone (McCain) that’s going to continue the Bush policies as opposed to someone that’s going to bring CHANGE; then when this country finally does go down in flames they’ll have NO ONE to blame but themselves.

Ironically, those same white, non-educated middle America voters that would probably vote for McCain are the same ones losing their jobs to outsourcing (which the Republicans favor cause it’s a pro-business move)…but they’re too stupid to even realize that.

  • pia

Glad Obama did well in North Carolina in spite of Rev Wright’s attempts to dis-credit his bid. The way Rev Wright acted was plain coon-foolery, and I wonder how he is getting paid nowdays???

  • Necy

what a Gorgeous Man !!! and Intelligent too.

  • Serafina

I actually don’t want her Hillary to drop out of the race. It’s starting to get interesting and pathetic seeing her holding on to an oil covered balloon. If she gives in now, it’ll be a hella boring until the Democtatic Convention.

That selfishness being said. I am sick and tired of all of these retarted and immature Democratic voters whom are still saying that they will NOT vote for Obama if Clinton doesn’t win and vice versa.

Don’t you all know how stupid and dangerous that could be for this country for the next four years?

Of course we all want out favorite candidate to win, BUT if he/she does not, then common sense should make McCain be the person you hate next. Not the candidate that your Hillary or Obama ran against.

To allow this country to suffer for another 4 years to prove a mundane point won’t do a damn world of good. But just show the rest of the world and the Republicans what they’ve been saying all along. That Democrats are the dumbest voters ever.

Stop being petty. And please vote for Smillary if Obama doesn’t win. And vote for Obama if Smillary doesn’t win.

Because this country will go straight to hell if McCain wins in November.

  • Link

    @ Serafina

Amen. But it’s not the Obama supports who are the problem it’s the Hillary supports. The lastest polls show that 70% percent of Obama supports would back Hillary if she wins but only 40% percent of Hillary’s supports would back Obama and just about the same would vote for McCain. I believe it’s those hard-headed old people who just won’t let things go. Wake up!!!!!

  • http://myspace.com/afiya00 Afiya

    @Link

I think come November they will vote for the Democratic candidate…no matter which one…it’s still early yet…

And anyone that would want 4 more years of the same ole back-room crap…need to seek therapy…STAT!

And for those undecided…if you haven’t decided by now…don’t bother!

  • Link

    @ Afiya

I agree b/c all they would be doing is hurting themseleves but yet they do not want to put the Rev. Wright away. They still think that Obama is an Elist who only cares for blacks.

  • Sydney (the real one)

    From the NYT:

“Today, in the wake of the North Carolina and Indiana primaries, the Obama campaign is announcing three new superdelegates: Jerry Meek, chairman of the North Carolina Democratic Party, Jeanette Council, a member of the D.N.C. from North Carolina and Inola Henry, a member of the D.N.C. from California.”

  • Bohwe

Hillary needs to leave well enought alone, and step down, she can’t win unless she wins the remaining elections by 70%, and that’s impossible. Also, it would seem illegal for Howard Dean and the DNC to count the Florida and Michigan wins, if Obama and Edwards were not on the ticket, just Hillary’s, So, it’s unfair to the party if it was fair.

Also, the republicans are pushing for Clinton to win, because it will be easier to win for them. 1. Clinton has been attacking her own party member, and agree with Republican McCain, an opponnet. Republicans will use that against her. Also, the republicans know that many black voters, which has created such a huge following for Obama, may not vote for her, if she wins. McCain has already began targeting black voters. Among other things. Her best course of action is too quit, retire and just become a face for a charitable cause and go down in history as a philathropic first lady.

  • Steel

Basically all Hillary is say is this ‘Look people he’s black and he can’t beat the white man in the GE’. She tagged Obama as an Elitist and for the regular white folk all they see is an uppity brother anyway so they equate that to what she said. She is trying to play the white guilt game and if these people are dumb enough to vote for McCain because of white guilt we won’t have an economy in 4years

  • Lucky

It doesn’t matter anyway. McCain is gonna win. America is too closed minded to elect a black man or a female president

  • http://myspace.com/afiya00 Afiya

George McGovern switched sides…he left the Clinton camp and wants Hillary to drop out so that Obama can win without taking this to the convention.

    Who knew?

  • Serafina

Howard Dean actually doesn’t want to be bothered with redoing or counting the votes in Florida and Michigan, because a deal is a deal.

He wants one of the candidates to step down so the party could move along and come together as one, before the August convention. But he hasn’t taken the actual steps to make the obvious choice, Hillary, go away quietly.

I understand that she doesn’t want to seem as if she’s giving it to a man. But I honestly believe that she thought she had this thing WON. Until Obama came along and snatched all of her thunder away. So she’s now left smiling when she’s aching inside. I bet she uses the N word every other hour when talking about him at home with Bill. She’s clearly pissed but has to put on a good front.

Someone made a good point last night on CNN. That she may know that she isn’t going to win but that she’s holding out, kinda keeping Obama hostage, so that he will out some folks of her chosing into his cabinet.

I don’t remember the gentlemen’s name from CNN last night, but he said Jesse Jackson did this during his run. And that by holding out, he was able to get Ron Brown and a few others their position.

It’s very plausible. And it seems like something she’d try to do.

  • Myra

It’s kind of sad when after all the mud slinging and name calling and accusations that she slipping in the mud that she has thrown. People don’t want to her dirty laundry they want to know “How can solve the poverty problems” and “How can we fight global warming”. Not all this bickering.

  • Wanted

Well it’s best for Obama to confront any demons now before he has to face John McCain and the Republicans. If he thinks Bill and Hillary are trouble, he hasn’t seen anything yet!

  • De

He rained on that hoe…and I am talking about Bill Clinton.

  • WAKE-UP!!

The democrats including Howard Dean and the super delegates are keeping this thing going and need to stand up to the Clinton’s. What is wrong with them? If it was Obama he would have been forced to step down months ago. The Clinton’s legacy may be scared by all of what is going on. It’s looking horrible to the world. The super delegates act like their scared of the Clinton’s or something. Now how will the democratic motto be about change if they are unwilling to do so??? Hillary said she is in the race until a candidate is chosen, so why don’t the delegates choose. I believe they are slowing up the process. It is time to write to the super delegates and tell them how you feel. They need to step up and move over to Obama, NOW!! ,or else we will switch our party affiliation.
