Lmao @ some of these comments… saying that shell flop. Well well well…here we are in 2011…and she is doin well. Love all her music. She has toured all over the world and has sold out many of shows. Now, don’t you ppl feel stupid. Janelle monae is a talented artist with a refreshing sound. Listening to her as I post this..and I love her!!!!

Janelle is an amazing artist who lures us into another galaxy and there are some who are too narrowminded to see the opening of the rabbit hole and thats fine. But I completely disagree with trying to categorize her with these mainstream artists who have replaced their passion for money… its nauseating.Janelle is a breath of fresh air and I enjoy her clean emissions.

Has it ever occurred to some of ya’ll that she doesn’t want to be mainstream.Some people don’t want to do huge concerts and all the endorsement deals and whatnot.So, it is actually unfair to compare her to beyonce and rhianna because those girls are mainstream.To tell you truth, i actually like her more because she’s not mainstream.And, if she wanted to take that route she can because she’s not an ugly girl and she has a nice figure.She chose not to do that because she is more than tits and ass.

If you slow mo Beeshes would get off of these overly marketed under talented artists and actually payed attention to what makes an artist a true artist such as things like…uh maybe…talent and strong lyrics, just maybe you’ll have something called a brain,
