The Escovedo children are Mexican, Black and Creole! Nicole’s birth mother is BLACK! So she is half black, a quarter each mexican and creole. SHE IS NOT CAUCASIAN AT ALL! Her birth mother is not white, but she is a very light black woman….as we would say “High-yellow”. There used to be a pic of Peter Michael Escovedo and the birth mother, but it has been taken down…probably by Nicole’s “people”.

I think she keeps this info concealed because she WANTS people to continue to believe that her birth mother is white. However, she has publicly stated that she identifies as BLACK, so at least she’s not lying to herself…

But it is said that Peter Escovedo is the real father, but Nichole says no. It is said that he gave her to Lionel and his wife to raise. Why? Her birth name is Nichole Escovedo. Well Sheila E toured with Lionel around that time, and she was just launching her career. Nichole is the love child of Sheila E and Lionel Richie, and to have Lionel adopt her and still have ties with family and not cause scandle is logical
