Diddy & Derek Luke

Diddy got creeped out by watching Derek Luke portray him in the Biggie Smalls biopic:

“‘It’s rare that you get a movie made about you when you’re still relevant, but [they] took on the challenge,’ Combs said of the cast, adding that he was especially impressed with actor Derek Luke, who is playing Diddy. ‘People asked me years ago who you’d want to play me, and I said Derek Luke … so it was just destined. I got to see him do his thing, and it was scary for me. I had to leave, ’cause he was acting just like me.'”

We bet it must’ve been bizzare watching a more attractive version of himself on the big screen. Maybe this will make him think twice about that “Black Bruce Willis” endeavor.

At first I was going to clown him about this statement as the movie is supposed to be about Biggie. But I did notice a few weeks ago how odd it was that the biggest star in the movie, hell the only star in the movie is playing the Diddy role. Maybe it is about him. I’m glad to hear he thinks Derek is doing a good job.

WOW! Im sure Derek Luke will be a better Diddy than Diddy himself.

  • ATLBlogger

DEREK LUKE IS FINE! I’m just piss that he took the role to play Diddy, eww. But at one point, didn’t Derek try to get out of his contract from this movie?

Actually that would be strange seeing someone portray you right in front of you – especially if it’s on point. It’s like mocking you

    “Take that, take that!!”

  • I'm Just Me

DEREK LUKE CAN GET IT HARD BODY. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS MOVIE!

  • 6 Figgaz

I trust Derek stayed suckin’ on Breathsavers throughout filming — any cat imitatin’ Puff has to keep his mouth open 24/7… and y’all know what that leads to…

  • COME ON

DIDDY IS STILL RELEVANT AND WE ALL KNOW IT JUST LOOK AT HIS TRACK RECORD, HE’S DOING THE DAM THING. DIDDY IS STILL HANDSOME AND NOT ULGY BY A LONG SHOT.

  • mrslaadee

Derek Luke is a talented actor. This should be a sign for Diddy to leave the movies to the real actors.

  • Jahpson
