What makes this sadder is that there will be people who read this and think this is another Tawana Brawley-like case, another “Boy who cried wolf” situation. I firmly believe that these people are guilty of what was alleged.

Hmm… don’t sound right to me either. Six people don’t confess to something they didn’t do. And all of their stories were the same. Clearly, this girl is impaired and being manipulated. Where is her family? Where are her lawyers? Why are they letting her make a fool of herself?

This is not a lie. The people who plead guilty have yet to ask their lawyers to have the judge and the federal prosecutor reopen the case. Plus they confessed, there was more than enough evidence to convict and even some of the lawyers for the defendants believed they were guilty. I think she is being threatened and being taken advantage of by her so-called lawyer.
