Beyonce admits to getting “mixed up” when looking at herself and Shakira in the Beautiful Liar video:
“For the video, they put us in a room together for about two hours and we just came up with the choreography and played off the fact we look similar. It was really cool because I don’t even know who is who sometimes – even I get confused!”

I must admit that I always thought the two were similar ever since Shakira’s Whenever, Wherever video, but the difference to me is that one is an effortless talent and the other seems forced. There’s a thin line between the art of belly dancing and the craft of booty shaking.
