I completely understand that there are rats and roaches in the world…when it comes to my food…I like to think that I could eat from the floor of the kitchen where it was prepared.

My family and I once went to a restuarant for a birthday meal, saw a mouse run across the floor, and left . . . quick time! Hungry belly and all! lol

First off, that is a mouse, not a rat. And yes they are everywhere & it is disgusting, it doesnt matter how clean your shyt is. But I wish someone could tell me one place in NYC that does not have any rats, roaches, or mice?

went to the nyc to visit and was astonished by the amounts of rats EVERYWHERE! They have a huge rat problem so I am not surprised.

I prefer cheesecake factory or s&s cheesecake. I see i was making the right choice. Juniors looks dirty and their cheesecake aint all that.

While I’ve never been their and am not encouraged by the story, it is true that very few food establishments DON’T have vermin. Especially bakery-type places… And the woman in the story is right. NYC? Shit, you would NEVER go there if you had any idea…

I was craving something sweet ’til I saw this. F*cking vermon skating on top of cheesecakes?! SMH at those MF’s that would eat there after seein’ this. It’s all fun and games ’til someone gets the Bubonic Plague…LOL.

@CubaLinda…you are so right chica. I ate at Juniors this weekend and the food was horrible. But that’s what I get for hangin out in Brooklyn. LoL JK. We were walking thru Battery Park and nothing but rats. I think because NYC sits on a harbor it is prone to disqusting rodents.

I have worked at many restaurants in NYC in the past and I never saw crap like that. They are suppose to exterminate once a month. I was going to order some cheese cake from Juniors, but I think I’ll just get some from where I live. Junior’s or not.

ROACHES run the one in Grand Central. I bought a slice of cheesecake and instantly returned it after seeing roaches in the display case.

Damn! In TX all we have to worry about are cockroaches! (and snakes, and scorpions) but NO RODENTS! lol…

I used to live over by there in Brooklyn and YES they do have a serious rat infestation problem… I can testify to that!!! Late at NIGHT!!! SMMFH

Hey Diddy isn’t the only famous person that is known to eat from juniors. I saw a diary when Jay-z went there to get some cheesecakes. Now eating out all the time, what eateries are infested with this problem. They should be put on blast so some thing could maybe get clean up asap.

First of all, Junior’s Bklyn has had a reputation for unsanitary conditions for some time—mice, roaches, etc. This is pretty common knowledge, which is why I haven’t eaten there since learning this tidbit of info years ago. If you’re feining for their cheesecake, try Junior’s Grand Central–hopefully they don’t have the same problem, but then again, you never know……..

i used to go to juniors all the time,with my best friend since i live in brooklyn.never again,but a word of note is juniors is right above the subway tunnels,hence 1 reason for the rat infestation

NYC like most major cities battles rats, mice, vermin. But you are able to keep them out of your home and restaurant. The fact that the mouse felt comfortable enough to be in the cases says that Junior’s has long term neglect. Junior’s is just a dirty place to start. The Health Dept did come by and they scored a 49. You need about a 27 to pass inspection. Clearly mice aren’t their only problem.

Junior’s is a place I dont like it eat in anyway. It is a tourist trap that apparently needs rat traps. Their cheesecake is not a good as they claim. If you think it is-well then you havent had a good cheesecake.

News flash: All NYC eateries have had rodents at some point or another. For some its a problem. For most its not. It’s just the way it is.

I agree with the comment that was made by the person who said what bakery does not have some sort of infestation, but that does not make it right hell this appears to be in broad daylight selling cheesecakes after rats have been all over them disgusting!!! What does the owner have to say about this and to the person that says it happens
you know theres a possiblity you could be eating rat sh..t and your ok with spending your money and receiving that type of service maybe thats the special ingredient that keeps the faithful customers coming back lol!!

I know it’s gross but in most of the restaurants you guys frequent, a rodent problem is the least of their infractions. Do you have any idea what goes on in the kitchen while you’re waiting to be served? You may be appalled. Find a friend who has any past or present experiences waitering and ask them. If they’re honest, I guarantee it’ll change your whole perception. By the way, NEVER order the soup.

OMG. .I do NOT want to go to NY. .what type of person is calm about any type of rodent or insect being found in a restaurant is beyond my understanding. .Is there not a health inspector? Are there that many damn rats that a few in a restaurant don’t make you blink. .Good Lord!

I see alot of rats in the city on those streets closer to the water, BK got mad rats, the subways anywhere got mad rats but in Queens on the street, even on the Ave i dont see that many but then again i dont be on the Ave often but i cant recall seeing rats in Queens…well Jamaica anyways…saw a few in Flushing last couple months so they prob hide well in Jamaica….man rats in BK are soooo hood. U be walking by and they be walking abreast with u like wtf son, you gonna walk on me? They don’t run or scamper….cant f*ck with em. They look like the type to jump n scratch u…give u some sh!t. mswin, NY aint got trash on every corner, clearly u aint never been to NY an got some pent up rage. I would go along with that because i read it before, NY is one of the filthest cities and waste the most food which i find shocking but i read it before. Trash on every corner is an exaggearation but yeah, its pretty bad in certain spots…esp those that sell produce or meats in like market type areas…them joints be stank but like everything else, there’s the really good an realy bad parts of NY. Gotta take time to see the true value in everything, cant judge from a far if u aint got all da facts
