I saw this young lady interviewed on the Today Show and she is extremely intelligent and articulate. I wish her much success in the future. No doubt that she will lose the weight on her own.

most times black people are the worst critics of there own kind. i bet any other race would be congratulatory to someone who has made it. yet we sit up on here and find nothing positive to say, some of you focusing on her looks. that shows how shallow you are. i have seen her do interviews, she is a very intelligent and well spoken young woman. get past the looks because there is more to people than their looks.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS being that big is just plain unhealthy. I saw this actress on GMA. She looked like she is 50-75lbs bigger than her character she portrayed 2yrs ago. While being interviewed by Robin, she could barely fit into that chair. You would think in 2yrs she would have tried to slim down just because of all the press she will be subjected to especially during the award season. I am not saying she need to be a size 6 but come on people. Can we go for a size 16. On GMA, she looked like a size 28….and I’m being generious.

She looks nice in this picture and it seems as though she has already started to lose some weight. What do you people think real people look like? You are so used to airbrushing and photoshop. This woman is amazing you can tell just from the trailor as well as the pic. I think she looks beautiful, confident, and free.
