Meeko I am Aaliyah’s number one fan and although that may have been”Aaliyah and your sister” for the simple fact that she is not a relative of Aaliyah’s or is her I can’t take the”Singing is not what she wanted to do all of her life” statement because if Aaliyah was here to speak for herself they’d be No maybes about what other goals she wanted to achieve,Your sister can not speak on her behalf.Aaliyah was a very talented woman and touched many of our lives through her music and what made it even better was that she wasn’t only beautiful inside but OUT…and she was humbled about it.She may not have been perfect but how many of us are?In my eyes she was and still is one of my angels,I don’t doubt for a second that she wasn’t a nice girl but we all have our BAD sides,lol because were HUMAN!but still to this day it upsets me to know she is no longer with us in physical form,But I know spiritually she is.As for all the profanities towards the other female artists?why all the hate just because they have a different taste in style??You must not respect women to call another woman “hoe” because remember that you have a mother which we ALL do and a sister who love you.The few artists that you mentioned are Very talented.

Aaliyah was not just a *****ody when she died. she had millions of fans across the worldBEFORE she p*****ed away. You act like she was a *****ody when she was alive. And the only reason Brandy was big in the 90s, is because of her mediocre tv show Moesha she had. It was good the 1/2 season but then it started gettin worse and worse. but anyways. Aaliyah did sing in a soft voice but that doesnt mean she can’t sing. She can put power in her voice just like that unreleased song “givin up” that she did. that is proof that her voice is as strog as Beyonce. And who ever said aaliyah’s career was going down in 2000. her last album was #2 on the billboard charts before her death plus she had a ton of movie contracts on under her belt. and why can’t we bring up her memory? we want her legacy to live on.

I (and I’m sure most of us here) have been Aaliyah fans since she came out point blank. I’m tired of folks trying to get on that “…oh you and every else only started liking her after she p*****ed…” tip. NO. Thats not only being presumptuous, but disrespectful too.

When Aaliyah went to (DSA)My Alma Mater. she was friends with my sister. she was always a good girl and she NEVER EVER EVER EVER would have dressed so skanky and whorish. and she was a very smart girl. this picture i saved it on my computer and showed it to my sister. she broke down crying. her presence is still felt. everybody needs to remember that these new hoes cant get it like her. i noticed Ciera, C*****ie and even that Cheri Dennis girl has tried to mimic her style. and they dont work. from personal experience i can tells ya. Singing is not what she wanted to do all of her life. she wanted to be an actress and maybe even practice law. her and my sister used to get down in the parties looking cl*****y and sophisticated. hells they had a saying “we went from ashy to cl*****y and always looking s*****y” and trust and believe baby girl will be missed forever.

unless yall believe in reincarnation, she will come back as a butterfly or maybe even another person who favors her so much it will ***** yalls head up to the core.
