Every aspiring model probably has extremely high hopes when chosen to be a contestant on America’s Next Top Model. Too bad the pickins are slim when it comes to work. Here is Eva Pigford modeling for some bullshit again. Actually, posing for lace-fronts isn’t nearly as bad as the last time we caught Eva getting her model game on by any means necessary. Poor thang.

So, oh well. Everybody’s complaining about how ANTM winners aren’t promoting them well. Actually,it’s up to the model to market herself. Get an agent! Have the agent to find work. Get a real job and have something to fall back on as modeling isn’t lucrative.

I think she looks great. I do not wear a weave or wig, but her hair looks good. She is working in her field, what’s the problem? She models, she gets parts on tv shows, she hosts events, I see her on the red carpet at events, I am sure that she is not hurting for money.
Aww. At least she’s working. I hope she does not fade away like a lot of them cause she really has a stunning look. She does need to get her attitude in check though, cause I had first hand experience when she damn near ran me over with her car in front of H&M in Soho last year. Sorry but NONE of the girls who win ANTM will ever be successful fashion models. Not only do the judges pick the most commercial girls, the picky fashion industry looks down on reality show contestants. Therefore, a job is a job. More people know about Eva than say a real high fashion model like Gemma Ward and exposure is a always a plus.

Eva is modeling. Modeling does not just consist of struting up and down a runway with expensive designer clothes on. Eva is consistently working, which is more than you can say for some of the other winners of ANTM.

I like the curly lace front, it looks just like the one Bee was rocking lately! I loved it!!! The thing about lace front is that i cannot see how they don’t damage your own hairline! I ve tried once and i was not sure about that! I mean, i guess, we are not supposed to rock lace front every day, maybe just for an occasion which is fine but if you have to keep the glue more than 2 weeks every month, i think you will end up with hair like Antie Vivica fox! Not for me! Plus that ***** is expensive lol!!

You must also remember that Eva was short by model standards. 5′6 is I remember correctly, so regardless of how beautiful the face, and it is gorgeous (no homo), she has limited opportunities in the modeling world.

Maybe I just don’t have an eye for quality but, what’s wrong with the hairline?
And yeah people, some women, Eva among them, look stunning with short hair (that goes for Halle too) but, sometimes a sister wants to do something different. Both Halle and Eva look best with short hair but, they don’t look terrible with long hair. Besides, this sister is getting P-A-I-D to model some L-O-N-G hair. From one sister to another, she’s beautiful either way.

The first ANTM winner, Adrian was the first one to speak out against Tyra about this. After the season is over, they don’t know you. Thats why they never actually produce any “top” models. Girls just need to know, if you go on that show, do it because you REALLY want to be on Tv and for no other reason because you don’t win sheeit. You win a $10,000 contract? Um… doesn’t that mean an agency is paid 10gs to represent you until the 10gs in service run out? I’ll admit, a covergirl ad is great for your portfolio, but after what 10 cycles now and they have yet to produce a model more succesful than Eva? They need to change the name of the show.

Umm, hello… this is what MODELING is!! Everything is not top contracts with L’Oreal. And plus, she left her ANTM contract anyway, and now is doing it all on her own. She’s actually doing great. If you’re seeing her in ads… as a model, that’s doing great! Just because she’s not modeling for D&G and Fendi doesn’t mean she sucks as a model. This gig probably paid pretty nicely. Besides, pay attention to recent fashion reports: It’s WAY harder to make it as a fashion model for Black women than any other race because most designers and ad agencies don’t think Black sells clothes/make-up as much. That’s why when you open like… Harper’s Bazaar or W, you don’t see any Black models in the Hermes ads.
And can WE stop bringing our OWN PEOPLE down?! I never heard of hating on somebody for HAVING a job.

Yes, Eva is undeniably beautiful but the chic aint workin no real good job (well at least no televised or well-known ads). However, YAYA is sure puttin in work from make-up, skin care hair care and hair style ads. Also she has done several commercials and a couple of movies (some really good ones too). So at the end of the day it doesn’t really better if you win dat # ONE SPOT especially if you cant maintain it….LOL. Its all about longevity….and, as beautiful as she is, Eva aint cutting it.
