After exchanging sexually explicit text messages with the fiancé of New York businessman…… Alex von Furstenberg, Miller took out a restraining order against Furstenberg, who hired a plane to tow a banner that read “Reggie Miller stop pursuing married women” and threatened the former athlete physically. The six-foot-seven Miller, who is married, claimed to be “fearing for his safety” in the presence of Furstenberg, who originally threatened a restraining order of his own to try and stifle the blossoming romance between his fiancé and the basketball star.
