We all went to school with a girl like this. One or two guys started out and word spread like wildfire that she was outside serving. Next thing you know, you got a crowd. One or two more people joined in and the crowd gets larger. Now the girl becomes ashamed. It’s hard for me to believe that kids could be cold enough to ingnore her cries for help. This is really a bad deal, I will keep up with this one. Prayers to her and her recovery tho

What’s frightening is that they may be future fathers of daughters someday, and this is how they view women. Horrifying.

Of course, a few of them have run trains on women, so this is normal behavior to them.

Remember when people used to say rapists, molestors, etc… were going to get “theirs” once they go to jail? It seems recently there are tons of cases like this happening, so I wonder…what type of people are filling up the jails now?

Something is going on to create this culture. The fact that we are even more exposed to things than before is one problem. Of course things like this probably always happened, but not to the degree to where so many people find it entertaining.

Saddens me to think if someone attacked me, a friend, family member, etc… there are some people who would either want to join in or walk on b/c it’s not “their business”. What a world…

They need to charge these “children” as adults, send them to prison and put them in Gen. Pop. Fate and karma will handle the rest.

I also read that one of the suspects made statements about the incident that had the police believing that they had one of the right men.

I obviously was more objective than you because I actually read full articles about this case, including reading statements from actual police officials who are taken aback by the brutality of this crime.

That’s objectivity — Gathering facts and then forming a conclusion, not pulling up other articles and inserting your own biases.

Nope, I’m turing it into a HUMAN RIGHTS issue. It just so happens that in this case the accused are male. I also defend women, coincidently mostly from other women, in threads about supposed “hoes” or “homewreckers.”

You should know by now that I question EVERYTHING. I never “judge” anyone or any situation without having all the facts. Nor have I made in judgements in this case. My point was merely I would like to have more details and hear from the other side. As any rationale person would do.

If in fact they are guilty and the events occured as described then they should be punished swiftly and justly.

When those youngins go to jail or juvy, they are gonna feel the effects. Although people are locked up, the jail/prison system of inmates still have a moral code they abide by. This issue hits home for me. I had to respond because I was completely horrified that a young girl was violated in such a manner, in front of witnesses no less.

Unfortunately this happens ALLLLL the time. I’ve seen a group of boys TRY to sexually assault a girl when I was a little girl. They tried to take her pants off and hold her down, a nearby adult heard her screaming, came outside and the boys scattered like roaches. I’ll never forget seeing that, I just hate to think of what may have happened if other little kids weren’t around or if an adult hadn’t stepped up to the scene to see what was wrong. This stuff happens more than I’d like to think…

My ni@@as (*years ago) met these two freaky twins at the mall and brought them back around our way and the fellas ran a train on them broads (*about 6 – 8 dudes) and when the girls wanted “the train” to stop for it stopped…

This is right in my own backyard. My son’s little Football league used to have practice at the Richmond High field, so this is waaaayyyy too close to home. When I saw it on the local news, I couldn’t believe it. I have walked that parking lot hundreds of times, and never thought that something so heinous would happen there.

I think the fact that this young lady had to be air-lifted from the scene with injuries is a clear indication that this was not “consentual” sex. IMO, this was a case of brutality. Also, the person who finally called the police said that she actually heard what was taking place, and that there was clearly a crime being committed against another individual.

I’m sure we’ll learn more as the story unfolds but this girl was a victim. I don’t foresee anything coming out that will vindicate the actions of these thugs, and I hope that they all end up in the gutter under the jail.

I think in “The Accused” (it has been a while since I last saw it) more than one was eventually convicted of the crime, but that was after the victim (Jodie Foster) had her past scrutinized, down to what she wore the night of the assault. I’ve always admired Jodie Foster as an actress, and she really played the role masterfully (I believe she won an Oscar, if I’m not mistaken — Please correct me if I’m wrong).

I just know that in most situations when someone has to be airlifted to the hospital it’s because the injuries are too serious for an ambulance and the person needs immediate attention to the point that driving down the street, through stoplights and around corners could take too much time for the critical situation…

I never said men were “always get wrongfully accused” but it DOES happen and I’ve cited several cases to prove it.

Thanks yall. I really appreciate it. I am trying to take care of myself but I’m a terrible patient. I hate bein in the house and I need to pay my bills. lol BUT the doctor warned me that pnuemonia could change into H1N1 for high risk patients which i am so i am stayin my butt in.

And i just got a letter yesterday that my job approved me paid leave for ALOT of time off. I am happy about that

One thing about my job, they’ve been sooooooooo good!

Fortunately, I’ve been receiving my full income since I’ve been diagnosed. You know, from time to time, we all grumble about our jobs but in situations such as mine, I’m soooo grateful for them doing what they’re doing for me.

I’ve had people from my hourly reports up to top Management (above me) clamoring to do something for me. I called my boss one day to pick me up from chemo. He wasn’t there that day but when I looked up, our Site Manager along with our HR Manager came to take me home.

Got one in 9mm parabellum (Basically a .380)…It has 7 shots, and I have 4 mags for it….The only bad thing is when you quick draw it, they have a tendency to get snagged on your clothes…The ASP doesn’t because it has has all hard points smoothed and radiused….Google them…They’re great if you can find one…..

Iran having a nuclear weapon on the global scale is akin to a family having a gun on a community scale.

It is a problem waiting to happen. People are more likely to shoot themselves or their own family members than anyone else during the course of “protection.”

I realize it gives a sense of protection but in reality you have put your family in more danger statistically by having one. Not tryin to argue because I know the passion of gun lovers that it would be useless. I just wonder what would it take to add another bill to the Constitution to have guns banned…

I can respect that. I’ve seen pretty horrible things and I too have been so shocked and utterly disgusted, ashamed, afraid, angry, empathetic and all of the above. But it has now gone too far. This is not satisfying, I feel absolutely numb to these stories; not that I don’t care but I don’t find any satisfaction or piece of mind by simply feeling sorry, it will never stop but I do not want to play any part in whatever the indirect cause may be. He tried to call her on her cell phone. Can you imagine the stress this man must be under to protect his family. It does look like she has an active dad in her life.
