Kim Kardashian Responds To Criticism About Becoming A Lawyer

Kim Kardashian is responding to fans who think she should “stay in her lane” and give up her quest to become a lawyer.

As previously reported Kim covered VOGUE and said that she plans to take the BAR exam after working as an intern at a San Francisco law firm for the next four years.

“It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society,” said Kim in the mag. “I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.”

That (of course) caused controversy from folks who wondered why Robert Kardashian’s daughter thinks becoming a lawyer is THAT simple and a number of people ordered her to “stay in her lane.”

According to Kim however, that AIN’T HAPPENING.

Kim penned a lengthy Instagram point where she shut down critics who think she should stick to pretty pictures and reality TV.

In it, she’s seen studying with attorneys Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney and working as an apprentice with their Jackson and Haney’s firm.

Kimberly says she’s studying 18 hours a week and taking written and multiple choice tests monthly and she’s pursuing her dream no matter what people say.

“One person actually said I should “stay in my lane,” wrote Kim. “I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am.”
